What this site is
Think of a spreadsheet full of numbers nobody reads. That's the gap this project tries to close. We gather notes on how data gets collected, cleaned, shown on screen, and read by a human.
No classrooms here. No grades. Just written material, put in one place, kept in plain language.
Why we bother
The basics of working with data shouldn't feel like a locked room. So we write about them in a way a curious reader can follow.
No promises about where the knowledge takes you. We describe. You decide what to do with it.
How we write
Descriptive. Neutral. We don't push tools, brands, or workflows. A chart type gets explained, not sold.
The point is to build a mental picture of how data moves from raw to readable. That's it.
